These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the MyCrew website and all charter services operated by Imaginary Caravel Unipessoal Lda, RNAAT 415/2017.

By using this website or making a booking, you accept these Terms & Conditions.

1. Bookings & Payments

• All bookings depend on availability
• Confirmed only after full payment or deposit
• Prices vary by season and vessel
• Payments accepted via card, transfer or approved platforms

2. Cancellations & Refunds

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@mycrew.pt.

To provide a fair and transparent service, our refund policy for client cancellations is based on the notice period given prior to the scheduled departure time:

• More than 72 hours’ notice: 100% refund
• Between 48 and 72 hours’ notice: 70% refund
• Between 24 and 48 hours’ notice: 40% refund
• Less than 24 hours’ notice, including no-shows: no refund will be issued

No-shows may result in the full loss of the booking.

A full refund will be issued if MyCrew Algarve Yacht is forced to cancel the charter due to unsafe weather conditions, unsafe sea conditions, mechanical issues, or other operational reasons beyond our control.

Where possible, clients may also be offered the option to reschedule the charter, subject to availability.

Specific refund rules may apply to certain products, services, third-party services, catering, special events, or custom bookings.

3. Safety On Board

• Passengers must follow all crew instructions
• Boarding may be refused in cases of intoxication
• Children must be supervised
• A safety briefing and life jackets are provided

4. Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers are responsible for:

• Being on time
• Respecting the vessel and crew
• Avoiding prohibited items
• Ensuring fitness for the activity

Damages, losses, excessive cleaning or costs resulting from negligence, misuse or misconduct may incur charges and may be deducted from any applicable security deposit.

5. Security Deposit & Damages

A refundable security deposit may be required for selected bookings, vessels, dates, events or periods of increased operational risk.

For bookings taking place between 28 June and 10 July 2026, a refundable security deposit of €1,500 will be required prior to embarkation.

This measure applies due to the increased operational risk during major event periods in Portimão, including Afro Nation 2026.

The security deposit may be used to cover, without limitation:

• Damage to the vessel, equipment, furniture, upholstery or safety material
• Loss or misuse of onboard equipment
• Excessive cleaning requirements
• Misconduct, disorderly behaviour or non-compliance with crew instructions
• Additional costs caused by the client or guests

The deposit will be refunded after the charter, provided that no damage, loss, excessive cleaning, misconduct or additional operational cost has occurred.

MyCrew Algarve Yacht reserves the right to retain part or all of the deposit where justified by damages, losses, cleaning costs, penalties or other expenses resulting from the behaviour of the client or guests.

6. Weather & Operational Decisions

Trips may be modified or cancelled due to weather, sea conditions or safety requirements.
The captain has final authority.

7. Liability

We are not responsible for:

• Loss of personal belongings
• Injuries resulting from non-compliance with safety rules
• Delays caused by external conditions

Liability is limited as permitted by Portuguese law.

8. Personal Data

Data is processed under GDPR and described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Applicable Law

Portuguese law governs these Terms & Conditions.
Any disputes will be resolved under Portuguese court jurisdiction.
